Higher Education Student and Professional Services
The Masters programme in Student and Professional Services is aimed at Higher Education practitioners who are interested in holistic student development, and in the broader experiences of students both in but especially out of class. This may be of particular interest to professional administrators and student affairs practitioners, but is also vital for academic staff.
Entrance requirement into the programme: an honours level or equivalent qualification
This programme consists of 6 modules each worth 16 credits (or 160 notional study hours)
4 core modules:
Electives chosen from the following:
- Diversity in Higher Education (16 C)
- Governance, Leadership and Institutional Development in Higher Education (16 C)
- Professional Services in HIgher Education (16 C)
- Student Development and Learning: theories and practices (16 C)
- Student Services in Higher Education (16 C)
- A module from another discipline, chosen in consultation with the Discipline and School. (16 C)
